Through the culmination of worldwide travel and the multitude of life experiences, Robert Meyers-Lussier views the world through a lens at a macro and micro eye.
A published author of a book of poetry, 'Psaiku', and a cookbook, 'This Is Delicious! What Is It?', as well as a writer and photojournalist for several magazines over the years, Meyers-Lussier looks to share his past and present photography, with a passion for all forms of beauty.
My creations are impromptu. It is a journey of plein air scenes that slices through time and place as I go around and live my life.
Micro and macro moments are important to me as an author, writer, and photographer. Within the confines of time, I find interest in color and pattern, happiness and regret, and the beginnings and endings of nature. Seasons are crucial, most importantly. My mind's sight continues to be refined as a result of a childhood spent enduring Minnesota's harsh weather conditions and an early, acquired Japanese aesthetic. I am constantly looking for the most stunning photograph that inspires me to never forget that particular moment in time or location.
