Artist Bio
Barbara West is an orthodontist and an artist. Her style is contemporary realism. Her mediums include oil, pastel, and monotypes. She paints a variety of subjects including landscapes, still lifes, animals, and boats.
Barbara studied art at the University of Pittsburgh, the Rhode Island School of Design, the Boston Museum School, and the De Cordova Museum School. She has participated in numerous workshops.
Barbara has been accepted into many shows and won many awards. Most recently she place third in a Women Painters West show.
