Gabriela Kramer was born and raised in San Diego, California. Her home(s) was a hub of many faces, cultures, and colors. Colors were always dominant in her life. Early on art was a big part of Gabriela's life. Her mother taught her how to paint and plays a big influence in her art today. At the age of 18, she moved to Tel Aviv on her own to explore different terrain and life.
Gabriela plays with different mediums in her art, she paints abstract, playing with composition, colors, collage, and mixed media. At the end of 2022 Gabriela and her husband relocated to Brooklyn, New York where they reside today.
Since moving to New York her art has been influenced by urban gardens. At the end of 2022, she relocated to Brooklyn from Tel Aviv. It has been a huge change in energy and atmosphere. Her paintings are influenced by the urban gardens that fill up different corners of the city. Part of this transition is also connecting back to her family and roots, especially her relationship with her mother, who taught her how to paint. She paints abstracts and uses different mediums from, crayons, watercolor, acrylic, spray paint, and much more. Gabriela loves to use household tools in her painting.
