Gladys Waters

I was born and raised in Colombia, South America and I am also a very proud American citizen. My late father Luis E Celedón was a very talented artist, and I now follow in his footsteps.

Painting is my passion. I enjoy doing oil paintings, combining the palette knife technique with the strokes of my painting brushes. I had found that adding texture to my paintings made them come to life.

I had been featured in several solo shows in San Francisco, California, at The Colombian Consulate; Main Street Gallery, and EarthDance Studios in Weaverville CA. Also in Redding, CA at Shasta County Office of Education and lately at Redding Regional Airport.

I regularly show my paintings with other local artists, at The Redding City Hall, Shasta County Arts Council, and other galleries in Northern California. I had been selected and invited to several national and international, online group exhibitions, like Gallerium, and Exhibizione. Planetarium, Artistonish, HMVC Gallery in New York. and more.

I keep learning and taking classes and workshops from very professional professors like Stefan Baumann, Mary Carole Larson, Mollie Flack, and many others on social media.
