Artist Bio
Born in '52, a graduate degree in Education. A former educator, a salesperson in a variety of fields, and retail manager; a trainer, and an animal care specialist. Early training in painting and commercial art; Further training as a mosaicist, cold-worked glass artist, and ceramic and clay sculpting artist. As a newly retiree, have moved into the colored pencil medium. As a painter, collagist, mosaicist, and illustrator; Works inspired by most modern artists but primarily by Picasso and Egon Schiele as well as the Impressionists, the Baroque artists, Dutch and Italian Renaissance artists, and innumerable Instagram artists. Currently live in Manhattan; Happily married for three decades; have traveled to most major world capitals and am looking forward to further trekking around the globe.
