I have been an artist in one form or another ever since elementary school. My fascination with the visual world has never abated and have continually tried to capture all aspects of life; the good, the bad, and the ugly using a myriad of artistic mediums. Began in childhood with charcoal, acrylic paints, and pen and ink; As an adult moved into experimentation with torn colored paper through an investigation into the world of ceramics, clay sculpting, cold glass, and mosaics, and finally, as retirement approached, the world of colored pencils took me in. Unknowingly their use and my continual attempts at mastering the medium resulted in a culmination of all my prior experimentation, training, and artist critiques that has resulted today, into a creative addiction and drive that I hope will never cease to exist.
