Kendra Yapyapan is an illustrator and educator who began her studies at Parsons School of Design in New York City and later at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Her work as an illustrator explores themes of heritage, death, and folklore. She currently resides in New Mexico and teaches storytelling through design and drawing.
I am an illustrator and educator currently working on a creative scholarship for my tenure research. My illustrations are done digitally and traditionally and revolve around personal history, concentrating on the inevitable surrender and transition of past generations to the next.
