Artist Bio
I am a doctor of internal medicine and a passionate artist. I combine my skills to bring the healing, sometimes meditative, sometimes exhilarating process of maneuvering paint on a surface to as many people as possible with my in-person Creative Ages art experience. I paint with kids battling cancer and other illnesses, and elders suffering from dementia: heavy impasto palette knife acrylic paints, drips of watercolor on paper, or luminous dye on silk. What a joy it is to help others engage in pushing paint around. The laughter contentment and pride in the process that bubbles up in them is the ultimate reward. Art transforms lives.
