Artist Bio
With the heart and soul of an artist, I seamlessly blend the worlds of architecture and art to create a unique and captivating artistic journey. My creative path was shaped by my studies at the Faculty of Architecture in Bratislava, Slovakia, where I honed my skills and developed a profound appreciation for the intersection of design and aesthetics.
While architecture laid the foundation of my artistic expression, I embarked on a parallel journey of self-discovery through painting. My artistic growth was nurtured by several painting courses and the invaluable guidance of a private art teacher, allowing my innate creativity to flourish.
My artistic endeavors have been showcased through a series of solo exhibitions in my homeland of Slovakia, each a testament to my evolving artistic vision. From the historic Old Castle in Banská Štiavnica in September 2010 to the evocative Culture Centre Synagogue in Ružomberok in February/March 2015, and more recently, the captivating Meridiana in Bojnice in October/November 2018 and the intimate Flat Gallery in Piešťany in September 2020, my exhibitions have resonated with audiences, transcending time and place.
In August/September 2023, my artistic journey reached a remarkable milestone as my works found a home in the hallowed halls of the Slovak National Gallery in Zvolen. This exhibition, documented in a radio discussion, "Augmented Reality: Genius Loci na Zvolenskom Zamku," was a testament to the immersive and transformative power of my art.
My creative prowess has been recognized through various competitions, including the prestigious 1st place in the Golden Time Talent Painting competition in the 31 to 50 years old category in 2023. I also secured victory in the Dalerrowney 1783 Fridays Challenge in Movie Theme Painting in 2023, further demonstrating my versatility and innovation in the art world. Additionally, I achieved the honor of being a first-stage winner in the International Watercolours Masters 2024 competition.
My artistic journey has been chronicled in the pages of "Artistonish," a contemporary art magazine, where my work was featured in Issue 37, published in August 2023.
Through my unique blend of architectural sensibilities and artistic flair, I invite viewers to embark on a visual journey that transcends boundaries and defies convention.
