William Bloomfield

Artist Bio

William Bloomfield exhibited in museums, public spaces, galleries, and private exhibits throughout New England, New York, online, and internationally, and mounted a featured installation at the 2019 Venice Biennale. While pursuing a public sector career, he's studied at The Chautauqua Institution School of Art, and Decordova Museum School, with Boston-area sculptors, and master sculptors in Carrara, Italy. In 2018 Bill was awarded a fellowship/residency in Merida, Mexico. He's the immediate past- president of the New England Sculptors Association.

In his other lives, he's an international social policy and strategic development consultant focused on improving the lives of low-income young people through education and employment, community engagement, and philanthropic support. Bill holds a PhD from Brandeis University's Heller School of Social Policy and Management.

In addition to sculpting, he is a member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and appears in films and television, theatre, and other media.
