Phil Dynan is an American painter and sculptor who has exhibited his works throughout the United States, Holland, Japan, France, and the United Kingdom. With a career spanning over 50 years, he has experimented with varying styles and mediums. Having mainly used serigraphy and acrylics in his art, he now paints using water-based oils, which facilitates blending.
Currently, he is working with partner, Anastasia Nelson, in oil and acrylic on mixed media sculptures. The sculptures are generally made from birch wood, but he also creates his own plaster sculptures. The sculptures require dozens of unique bevels (angles) and are an important part of the presentation that is interactive with the viewer.
