Artist Bio
Ever since I was very young I held a camera and pencil in each hand. As a rural arts advocate, I enrolled and completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts as an adult. While primarily a printmaker I am also drawn to the power of line and collage. The current body of work is a result of sorting out all the messy details of trauma related to breast cancer. When our bodies fail us there are losses beyond words. In the tactile medium of printmaking, I found a voice. And a powerful peace in sharing my truth.
