Kaidy Lewis

Artist Bio

Kaidy Lewis is an English artist from London and the greater surrounding areas. This is where she studied and worked. Trained in St Albans College of Art and Design, she was offered a place to study at the prestigious Chelsea College of Art, London. The artist is at home in the countryside. Outside and in solitude after immersion with people is where her ideas are consolidated.

Kaidy developed creativity courses to increase confidence and improve health, after developing a self-reflective painting style. These were taught alongside the artist’s own exhibitions. Kaidy felt inspired and still does, to share her art and therapy. Practiced and delivered for people adapting to change, chronic health conditions, and adults with learning difficulties. Kaidy began this practice sharing in 2006. She ran ‘Art at The Farm’ at Canterbury Oast Trust, Kent UK in 2012. In 2016 she moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Kaidy joined the Orange County Art Guild in 2017 and led the Jury committee from 2020 - 2023. She has been an active member of the FRANK gallery since 2018.

Kaidy is now the art director of ‘ The Henry Roger’s Art Program’ at The Forest at Duke. Started in May 2020 to engage and enrich the lives of the elderly residents living in a healthcare setting.

The artist was selected and juried to sell art for the home - October 2023
