Artist Bio
Born and raised on the Lower East Side of NYC I became interested in photography in 1978 when presented with an analog film camera. In 2010 I picked up a digital camera and am self-taught in this genre with the help of SVA and PACE night classes. I started capturing images of callas after losing my spouse, my home, and my dreams. Callas helped me grieve. From ashes, beauty is born.
