Artist Bio
I am a photo-based artist that realized I saw the world in photographic frames at the age of 16. I have spent more than 50 years with a camera in hand.
I became a single mom after running from an abusive situation, grabbing my daughters, a grocery bag filled with clothes & toys, and my camera. I worked in the corporate world while taking portraits & shooting weddings on the side for 15 years before devoting myself to full-time photography, specializing in portraiture for women.
In 2008, I chose to concentrate on creating my art and began showing it in galleries throughout the area.
In January 2020, I was selected to participate in the “31 Women Artists” show in Sedona, AZ. It was a celebration of the original exhibition of 31 women surrealists in 1943.
I continue to experiment and explore the inner recesses of the mind without restriction and with complete honesty while sharing my heart and creating a connection with the viewer.
