Artist Bio
Art has been the foundation of Kathy’s endeavors throughout her life: a young painter who became graphic communications major in college, and an art director in the communications business who returned to the joy of painting in 2012. Her mother is a painter, her father created mid-century modern furniture in his spare time. When asked by International Artist Magazine to contribute an 8-page demonstration article on her painting style, Kathy credited working as an art director for one of the largest advertising agencies in the world for a priceless education in the process of having a vision and creating art in many forms. Today, fellow artists in her Northern California community are a constant source of inspiration.
