Artist Bio
Anita Stepnitz resides in Portsmouth, England, and learned to sew at the age of 10 from a school teacher. After dabbling in Interior Design in education, she studied Psychology at the Open University. She runs a free Art project in her city where her work is regularly hidden on the streets of Portsmouth for residents to find, love, and keep. She rediscovered her love of sewing in 2017 and began experimenting with political themes in her work.
