Artist Bio
I was raised in Philadelphia, Pa, and went to 3 art schools there: The Pennsylvania Academy of Art, The Philadelphia College of Art, and the Tyler School of Art. Preceding these schools attended the University of the Americas in Mexico City, Mexico. I received a BFA from Tyler. While living in Philadelphia I had several one-woman shows at Eyes Gallery, Owen Patrick Gallery, and Third Street Gallery. I was accepted in juried shows as far away as Texas and North Dakota. In 2005 I moved permanently to Truro, Ma to live with my husband. In 2005 I had a one-woman show at the Helen Day Art Center in Stowe, Vt. Following that I had 2 one-woman shows, in 2011 and 2012 at the Blue Gallery in Provincetown, Then in 2016, my painting was awarded best in a show at the Provincetown Art Association. I have had 2 one-woman shows, in 2017 and 2020 at the Five Point Gallery in Torrington, Ct. I received a $25,000 grant from the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation in 2017. I show regularly locally.
