Artist Bio
Ann Hulce Nicholson was always able to see the world from an artist's point of view: the colors, the composition, as well as the beauty in the smallest details that others just passed by. She was born and raised in Michigan, yet she spent her career in New York City. While primarily self-taught, Ann has honed her skills with Denis Ponsot as well as numerous watercolor artists online. Some of these artists are known internationally as preeminent in the field. She learns something new every day and is inspired every day. She now splits her time between studios in Brooklyn, New York, and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
